Shindo XLR-RCA IC pinout
I need longer IC b/w my Vosne Romanee preamp and power amps, and I'm going to make my own to try, since I don't have an option of moving VR close to the amps in order to use my current 4 ft. Shindo IC, because of the physical layout of the room.
Can somebody help me with the XLR pinout on Shindo cables, please? My understanding is Pin 2 (hot) is connected to RCA center pin and Pins 1 and 3 connected to RCA barrel (ground). It can either be accomplished with 3 conductors wire with Pin 1 - and 3 of the XLR connected together to RCA ground in the RCA connector, or with 2 conductors wire, where only Pin 1 is connected to RCA ground and Pin 1 is connected to Pin 3 in the XLR connector internally. I just want to make sure I understand exactly how Shindo does it. Appreciate your help. |

Thank you,
That is helpful. But, do you know which way Shindo is using? I understand, Vosne Romanee has transformer coupled output |

And, in which way did you make it?
