McIntosh Approach to Digital Sound

Presented by Ken Zelin - digital eliminates noise, analog creates noise - expensive streaming devices and USB cables not required to send digital bits - DAC design is what determines sound reproduction quality - music from hard drive more prescise than from rotating optical mechanical drive - optical cable better than coaxial - loose some music resolution with tubes versus solid state

Good stuff. Thanks for sharing. I always enjoy a technical video and discussions from the veterans of our hobby. Ken Zelin, while not an engineer, has been around the audio technology since '72 and knows his stuff.
