Will guess the the CJ gear will sound great.

Wonder why the CWIII does not include the new horn that is used in the ForteIII?

Not sure either maybe a better match with the bigger woofer and cabinet size ? they sound smooth and dynamic as they are. I'm guessing the CJ and the Klipsch will be a goos match also. Gonna try after I get back from SEMA.

Was thinking the same. CWIIII on the horizon?

Tractrix offers several advantages over the older Exponential, especially in the critical mid-range. That is why the newer offerings use Tractrix.

"All frequencies handled by the horn/driver of the two different horn designs (exponential vs. modified tractrix) are not affected by the same amount. Generally, the lower the frequency, the more audible will be the difference, although the modified tractrix horns also have a wider coverage angle at high frequencies, which will also affect the overall sound. There is math involved and a little physics, but specifically the modified tractrix horn will sound more neutral and have a more consistent coverage angle vs. frequency. It will sound better from a wider variety of listening azimuths and elevations than the exponential--eliminating the "head in a vise" stuff. You can move around your room a great deal more and still hear the same timbre/soundstage."

I'm really enjoying the fuller sound than what I had before. I had a pair of monitor speakers, so picking up a lower octave is so pleasing to my ears. These are doing what I had hoped at lower volumes too.

I have to get these speakers setup properly, isolation and some jumpers to start...but so far I'm very happy.

I just got mine a week ago Limited Edition Indian Rosewood

I’m using Kimber Cable jumpers, definitely better than the factory jumpers

I am bi-amping mine now I have the Mids and Highs on a CJ premier 11A tube amp @75 watts /ch and the bottom end on a Rotel RB1590 solid state amp @ 350 watts a Channel

Sounds glorious ! I contacted Sound Anchors to build me some stands to get them 12 inches off the floor I think I will prefer the Highs and Mids to be a bit higher than they are . I may lose some bass but I have a Sub I can add in if need be .

I started off with the CJ 11A running it all but it seems to have tightened up the bass with the SS amp on the bottom end .
