Merging Technologies NADAC

I was wondering if anyone here owns or has heard this DAC.

The specs and features look interesting.

I've had it in my system for review. It is excellent but I found it hard to justify the price of the multichannel version over alternatives.

I heard it a couple of times.

The Merging Nadac + Player offers a streamer, 8-channel DAC + multi-channel preamp all in one device.
Considering it is the equal - for me at least - of stereo high-end DACs costing (almost) the same, but not including a streamer or preamp, I think it is a serious candidate for multi-channel lovers.

Its pro-counterpart is used in a lot of recording studios.

Mt wife and I will visit a recording engineer who uses Merging Nadac in May.
