Total Lunar Eclipse Tonight

There is a Total Lunar Eclipse Tonight. Should be a good one. It will be visible from all of the Americas. They’re calling it a ‘Super Blood Wolf Moon’ because the Wolf Moon is the full Moon in January and this will be a Super Moon, meaning it is close to the Earth so appears larger than normal. See www.timeanddate.com for times for your area.

Dave,
Some sites will be streaming this live so if it is overcast you can watch it online. Don’t know what the weather will be like tonight where we are. Hope it will be clear and I can stay awake for it. :)

Total Lunar Eclipse Tonight

Any photo buffs have hints on how to shoot the moon? At ‘normal’ exposures, it will be one big white ball. What’s the best way to get the right exposure for detail on the moon?

Try mreclipse.com - lots of info on exposure and techniques there.
