Kaleidescape Movie Server in bound
I pulled the trigger for a Kaleidescape movie server a few days ago. This will go in my Cape Cod theater.

I'm interested to hear your thoughts Ivan! I almost pulled the trigger on one until I read about their financial troubles which I think have been remedied.

:lurk: Well this topic is up my alley... Ivan, Did you consider the Silenzio as a movie server? I like David have considered the K system for my home. So I am looking forward to hearing from you on the installation and useage... |
Jim... I did, but I needed Kaleidescape for both my, and my customers needs.

Ivan,
I think I remember reading you were upgrading your theater room. Are you replacing the McIntosh with maybe a Trinnov or Datasat?:naughty: |

Quality product, congrats and enjoy !

Ivan, I see you posted picture of an Alto. Did you get that or a Strato? I have both, and each has its advantages (4K capability for the Strato, ability to play and catalog a Blu-ray or DVD disc for the Alto for movies from a studio such as paramount which is not yet available from the Kaleidescape download store)?
