If you can't hear a difference, count yourself lucky and move on. These posts are tiring. :icon_thumbsdown:

We just don’t need you dissing most threads that relate to cables. A few years ago you seemed to have a real bug up your butt on Shunyata. Now it’s the ‘there’s a fuse in the way’ argument. We get it. Start a thread and make your points. I will read it. I am interested in your views. But spreading them all over and implying that folks are silly for being happy with their new cables is too much.

I would say that even with a thin wire in the line, multiple thin wires in fact, one can and does hear differences between other cables when compared apples to apples and blindly. I have run those experiments with speaker cables recently and heard differences.

Are you suggesting I start a new thread on the "sound of a thin wire"? Are you going to contribute to it? I would love to read your descriptive analysis of such.

I do not have any bugs anywhere about any audio accessory company. To me they are all the same. They offer what they offer and you pays your money and have fun with it.

Sometimes for the sake of participating in an audio forum, which is community based with individual opinions and views, I may add something to a post but the intention is to have a discussion which may add a new perspective to viewing things. Isn't that the idea of a forum or is it more of a confirmation bias, herd mentality, support group?

Fuses don’t interest me so ‘No’, I would not likely add to a thread on them. I would read it and hear what all have to say. I tried ‘upgraded’ fuses four or five years ago and couldn’t hear any difference. That’s my only experience.

A forum is all you have described. But it should also be fun. Posting something about a new product purchase and then having someone rain on your parade is not fun. I know you don’t feel like you are doing that but it seems that way to me. That’s what I am reacting to.

Oh yeah he is doing it alright! And not only here. Check out the Shunyata thread on Audio Shark for the Everest. Same dude, same silly argument on ... fuses. He knows very well what he is doing

Yes, he clearly knows what he's doing. This thread is: "Shunyata Research power cables suggestions for my system." His posts have nothing to do with that.

Sorry, but this poster has been making multiple conversations here very difficult.

I am with Craig here. There is no need to repeatedly post the same anti-cable/anti power-focused company responses when someone posts something positive like a review. Perhaps a separate thread would be a good idea.

Anti-cable specific threads would not be logical or popular on AA. There are other forums out there for that. I don't participate in them. I can however find zen and balance being among the big cable believers or the opposite group just as easily. We don't all have to agree on how we arrive at audio nirvana as long as we are having a good time with music.

Having a discussion that parallels a topic from time to time was always a good idea to me but I can see others do not find it so.

Strange that a thread with hate on Wilson was quite popular recently but this one is taboo. :D

Apologies...did not notice that one. Not being a Wilson owner I may have passed over it.

I would make the exact same comments there as this is not personal regarding your post; it's a more general concern and preference for me.

Thanks for the balanced response to my post.
