I am happy with my Concept MC, but have considered trying a Sumiko Blackbird next go around...
Had one before when I was running a VPI Scout and really loved the warm yet detailed sound.
Plus it is a higher output MC so I could lower the gain setting on my Moon 310LP phono stage for even lower noise.

and require balanced operation to allow for longer XLR runs to my preamp (25' to be exact). At time of purchase my budget dictated that
I stay under the $2K mark if possible. The 310LP was $1900 so it fit the bill perfectly for me.

What impedance settings are fellow Concept MC users running with their phono preamps?

I currently have mine set at 100 ohms.
Though I have had a tough time finding recommendations on this subject...
