best speakers under 10K retail
 

So I am interested to hear some opinions from the forum.

If you had 10K to spend on a pair of speakers, and had to pay retail price, what would you get?

Seems like there are hoards of great speakers over 10K lately, but what is pushing the envelope under 10K?

Now that would a nice challenge to have to work you way through. I will have to think about this one.

Not sure the US prices but something out of the Tannoy Prestige line perhaps like the Yorkminster or even the Canterbury if funds will reach. :yes:

I would look at the Sonus Faber cremona line of speakers

Totem is definitely worth auditioning.

Klipschorns. The only speakers I have owned and sold and wished I hadn't.

First question would be -- What amp(s) would these be pushing -- ?? You have to give us at least that.

Not really looking for opinions on a specific system - I am a dealer - just curious what you guys like in this price range.

It is sometimes baffling to me that it is so easy to push the envelope over say 15K, but it seems like few push as hard under 10K
