Freezing Picture

Not sure where the problem is coming from, but I'll tell you what I have and what the problem is.

Have my HP laptop plugged into my Panasonic Plasma using an HDMI cable. Trying to play the first season of the Mandalorian from a flash drive that my brother downloaded for me. About every 30 seconds the picture freezes for about a second and then plays again. We have been living with it but it is annoying. Also tried using my Asus laptop but the same problem exists. Thanks guys, I'm sure you guys are much more skilled at these hookups than I am.

It might just be a slow flash drive. Try copying it to your desktop and playing it from your hard drive.

I believe that did it. Now I haven't watched a whole episode yet, but the freezing picture showed up right away before. Thanks guys.

By the way any suggestions on a 4K HD Blu Ray player? DOn't want to spend much more then $250 as the TV costs a good bit.
