Their online reviews are horrific... Plus, any business that needs to stress how much you can "trust" them is a red flag for me.

of course - they are not an authorized dealer. Again - buying tv's out of your local market is generally a bad idea.

I'm happy to report that I am back from my vacation and the Samsung I purchased from an authorized dealer will be arriving at my local freight dock tomorrow. IF I am lucky, they will be delivering tomorrow.

TV arrived...some damage to the exterior of the box. Appears that a driver had a skid on his forklift truck and grazed the side of the box. I called the authorized retailer and they offered to replace it BUT I am going to go unbox it now and check it out before making a decision. I think it's probably fine, the warranty is solid and I don't really want to wait around for a pick up and then replacement.

It's mounted on the wall. I'm going to look up some baseline picture settings tonight and try it out. Calibration will obviously need to wait for a couple of weeks.

NOWHERE close to calibrated or dialed in yet...but despite the reflective screen I'm pretty confident I made the right choice, for the price.
