Ivan.......After reading the review, I believe it to be a quality FM signal amplifier. If the three RF stages employed are able to deliver weaker signals cleanly, then it would be a worthwhile addition to any tuner. I use an RF amplifier on my FanFare FM-2G outdoor antenna, but it is no where near the $450 price tag of the Magnum MD-205. Mine was $30.00, and provides 10 to 15dB of gain depending on the frequency you are trying to tune. The problem with mine is it amplifies noise, too. So if a weak, distant signal is tuned and there is noise, all of it amplified. If the MD-205 is capable of minimizing or eliminating this noise, while at the same time amplifying the signal, that would make it valuable, and perhaps even worth its price.
