Cartridge Recommendations for ProJect Xtension 10

Hi, All!

I'm thinking about a cartridge update from my Sumiko Blackbird HO on my Project Xtension 10.

I prefer a more musical sound vs. analytical. In the past, I've owned a Sumiko Pearl, an AT 440MLA, and an Ortofon MC3 Turbo on a prior Project RPM 3 'table. Of those, on that table, I liked the Ortofon.

I also like the Blackbird on the Xtension, but am curious as to what the upgrade path on this tonearm is.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!!

Ryan

My apologies - an important bit of info!
I'd like to stay in the 2-3k range, if possible.

Easy, hands down the new Grado Statement v2 (I can keep it in your budget) ;)

I will definitely throw that in the hopper. Thanks!

I moved from the Sumiko Blackbird to the Sumiko Pearwood Celebration II.

Couldn't be happier.

I'm using a ProJect RPM10.1 evolution so we are on a similar system.
