Audio Research Ref 6 new in box

Looking at a deal on a new in box Ref 6.
How far down might prices go due to the release of the 6SE?

The reference 6 can be updated to “SE” status, so value should not be reduced by much.
Also the SE model has a higher list price justifying the difference.

Sounds very good if truly new in box. The upgrade is $3K so that would put you at 12K for an SE which is a very good figure for latest version.

It was stated to be new in box and he is a dealer for arc.

Also has ref 3 phono preamp new in box.No traffic into store has hurt small. Business.

Thank You I did not have funds for the 6 SE but will save up and do the upgrade
