Inexpensive Tube Tester Recommendation
 
Can some please recommend an inexpensive tube tester....thanks

Look into the Orange Tube Tester. It may meet your needs depending on what tubes you wish to test and on what level of detailed tests you want to do.

I just bought one and it tests the ECC81, ECC 83 and KT88 tubes I use. It shows a good - worn - bad result with a number that is developed based on their proprietary algorithm. I guess you could sort of match tubes using that.

For me, GOOD was all I wanted to see.
