SVS to JL Audio

I currently have dual SVS SB13 Ultras. I was using them in a 2.1 system, but now I'm 2 channel only. What JL Audio sub should I consider to replace my SVS subs. My system: Aerial 7T speakers, Jeff Rowland(JR) 625 S2 amp, JR Corus preamp, JR Aeris DAC, Bryston BDP2. My room is 20' x 26'.

May I ask what you are looking to better from the SB13?

What makes you believe the SB13's are bad?

I'm looking for tighter, more articulate bass. Bass coming from the SVS's sounds a little bloated. I will call SVS on Monday and see if there are additional adjustment that I can make to improve the quality of the bass. If the adjustments don't work, I'm looking to replace my subs.

I'm not saying the SB13s are bad. I'm asking is it worth going to a JL Audio sub? If so, what JL sub should I consider?

I will be curious as to what direction you take.

Yup! I run dual F113's w/ my Strads in a room much small than yours; the deep bass is off the chart good.
