I did not know how awesome McIntosh was until I joined this forum.

I plan to replace my Receiver with a comparable McIntosh variant. Separates maybe.

The MCD500 took my system to "11" and I haven't even hooked up the MS300! (This weekend!)

The system sounds great, my neighbors agree!

Down memory lane ... I worked at a stereo shop in the late 80's while attending college. Unfortunately the owner sold the shop but fortunately he let me buy the K-horns that were on the floor, at a very reasonable price. Don't have them anymore but really wish I could hear them with my Mac equipment now.
