Silver electra vs platinum electra?
 

Hey guys! Wanted to see what the general consensus was about this. There is a huge price jump between the two; I'm looking for quality power cords for my system (shown below). i want to get for the monoblocks, pre-amp, and then for my power conditioner that i'm going to order (niagara 7000).


what are the thoughts on these? is the huge price jump justified between silver and platinum?

also, should i get a high end power cord for the VPI turntable?

I had the same questions. MasterLu set me straight!!

Silver Electra is my go to power cable for all but my uber reference systems; in which case I use Platinum Electra's.

Anyone ever try the Silver Electra's on their mono power amps? I read somewhere these might be a good match with PSAudio BHK monos, anyone hear this pairing?

I have them on a large majority of my Monoblocks. The Silver Electra's do have great synergy with the BHK Mono's also.
