Sound Anchors for JL subs

Hello all.

Came in from work around midnight last night to find these on the floor... needless to say I stayed up to put them in place. Another herniated disk:yikes:

I am so impressed with the build quality of these puppies. They are so much heavier than I imagined. Packed like a MC amp!!:lmao:

Anyways they were easy to put in place, albeit the muscle/back strain. They fit their spot perfectly. I am glad my measurements were correct, as I designed and had built the new cabinet a year ago now, without the real things available for measurements.

Thank you Ivan. It is a great product. I'm already noticing a positive change based on elevating the subs 6" closer to listening (ear) level. I get that low frequencies are essentially "non-directional" but I can tell you I "see" the low frequencies with these installed. It gives me a sense of better positioning (as the viewer) when watching TV.

I have not fully tested them (read: blast them) when it come to rattling the room. I am used to some annoying rattles at loud volumes, but I won't be testing that until maybe next week (schedule issues)

Until then I will leave you with some pics...
The Left sub:

Nice Hector. Fits like a glove. You may want to pick up the round pucks to put under the spikes. Also I believe the ridged rubber ring around the spike is to assist with installing the spike. No harm though in leaving on the spike. Nice install.

HA! Nice pick up, Jim. I didn't even think of the rubber thingies until you mentioned them. I guess I was too tired to think about what the hell they were:lmao:
Anyways, unless you come help me lift all that stuff again, those thingies are staying put. I may decide to cut the front ones with a blade or something later on:scratch2:

On the pucks issue, I wasn't sure if sound would be affected much with them on. They offer them on their website as a tool for those who worry about their tiles... I don't:cigar:

Again, anything that needs to be added will wait for my full recovery:roflmao:

cheers!

I hear you. Maybe that is where my lower back issues started earlier in 2016.
