Wireless HDMI
 

Looking for a little assistance. I have a house where the receiver is located in the closet and the TV is located in the family room. The receiver is wired to the 5 channel surround speakers in the family room. There is no way to get an HDMI cable to the receiver. I was hoping with today’s technology there was a wireless HDMI transmitter someone could recommend to take the TVs HDMI audio output to the receivers audio input.

Interesting. Never heard of this.

DVDO has been at the forefront of this. But I can’t be sure from their website if their new 4K model supports HDR and HDCP2.2 just that it supports 4K30.

Bear in mind it doesn’t really work across brick walls either.

Epson is the only one I know which has a model with wireless HDMI built in and it works pretty well.
