I have never been able to warm up to ANY of the 800 line of B&W with the Diamond tweeter. I have heard them with varying equipment, in an acoustically treated room, but that tweeter has always been very very bright to me. That is why it is the system that counts as a whole, and not 1 particular piece. That is the fundamental key to getting the most of each component. I will take a $25K system that has been carefully matched together, than a $50K system that is put together without research and thought.
