Yep, you see that from time to time on amps and preamps. My Shindo Cortese is the same way. No big deal, just wire it up the way you want, it's easy enough to remember they are reversed.

My Bryston gear always just said: Channel 1 & Channel 2. Darned smart Canadians... :D

Look at the back of the MCD-1100. Same thing for the balanced outputs. I think this is pretty common.

I Agree not the end of the world--but my Shindo is RR LL--so maybe they

rethought it.

Correct to point it out -on a $25K item

The big box Shindo pre amps are set up like your Momentum, as well as the Cortese.

The only thing I see wrong with that amp is "That it's not at my house!" :D

Correct.

If I wired them up per the back panel the speaker cables and ic from the right speaker/right channel would have to cross over to the left side,
The left speaker cables and ic would have to cross over the right cables.

not a bad screw up for a 25k amplifier.

Can anyone give me a logical reason why they would do this if it is not a complete labeling mistake and lack of quality control. I am happy to be wrong.

Actually (and this is a pet peeve) I hate that the AC cord and IC/speaker cable connectors are on top of each other! How do you separate them?
