Bryston matched with Wilson

What are the views from Wilson owners past and present of pairing Bryston with Wilson speakers?

I have hooked up my ARC Ref6 with Bryston 9B SST2 and was very impressed with the sound, and wondered how the 28B3's would far. Could only imagine it would be epic.

I was running all Bryston amps in my 2ch/HT with Sonus Faber then switched to Wilson. It didn’t suck! I was happy with the results in a fully treated room. Until I switched to D’Agostino which of course took the performance and overall tonal balance to new heights. D’Agostino upgrade was multiples of the price of course. What was the major difference? Richer, denser, more meat on the bones presentation, more palpable and holographic like imaging, smoother top end. Do the SST3’s sound much different than SST2? I don’t know personally but have heard they are so perhaps it would be even better that I experienced then, which like I said, didn’t suck!

I've had SST2 amps and currently have the cubed amps. A nice overall improvement in sound quality, especially mids and highs. I suspect with the 28B3s you will definitely hear a nice improvement. The ARC tube pre and Bryston SS amp combo is great. I have the ARC Ref5 SE with 7B3 amps.

“Doesn’t suck” means really good.

Americans have a peculiar way of speaking...

"Not bad" = good
"Not good" = bad
"It's ok" = meh
"Good" = good, but not as good as "not bad"
"Pretty good" = more good than "not bad"

I was attempting to provide other examples inspired by “doesn’t suck” = “good”
