P10 THD versus MC452

If incoming power into the P10 reveals THD is 3.5 and altering it out to .03, this obviously is a gain.

Where I get confused is my McIntosh MC452 is rated at .005 THD, so it appears better then what the P10 does?

Is there a THD benefit from the P10 or is it within the MC452?

Please help make this clear and simple, thank you!

I am not an expert - the simple difference is they are two totally different systems.

The P10 is cleaning up the distortion in your incoming electricity from power company.

The THD rating of the MC452 is what it CREATES at the stated power output levels to your speakers.

Fortheloveofmusic,
I've had that combination for quite a while (P10 + MC452) and for me that are a great match.
Enjoy!
