As an authorized dealer for New Sensor, sole USA distributor of Tung Sols, I'd like to introduce you to Tung Sols "big bulb" or "coke bottle" answer to vintage 6L6GC's -- identical specs to the vintage version w/thicker glass & available to AA subscribers in the AA Marketplace at a greatly reduced price. (The RCA 6L6GC tube on the right is only for comparison).

They are a drop in replacement for 6L6GC utilized in MC40's and MC240's for instance or any amplifier utilizing 6L6GC's. The seated height is 4.75 inches, the width is 2 inches & could be an issue with in-use tube cages/top covers.

Preferred by practically all who have auditioned this tube stating it is ultra smooth with great bottom end and midrange.
