What do you think of the Alexia's ?

Jerome... This was a very good sounding room.

I know you asked Ivan, but these are the most musical speakers I have heard from them.

Exactly my feeling. Only Wilson i have heard that is to my taste.

I thought both Alexia rooms sounded awesome.

Grade A+ speakers for sure!

I would love to do a shootout of the Alexia versus the Vandersteen 7.

The Alexia's are wonderful.

Par excellence. You have to have great respect for these components. What is interesting to me is that the S5 at $16k less are competitive with the Alexia's. And the S5 being a sealed box should be easier to place than the rear ported Wilson. Of course both speakers have a different sound, and one is likely to appeal more to the listener based on their musical preferences over the other, but personally i'd rather pocket the $16k and put that into a better amp or front end ;)
