I would love to do a shootout of the Alexia versus the Vandersteen 7.

Par excellence. You have to have great respect for these components. What is interesting to me is that the S5 at $16k less are competitive with the Alexia's. And the S5 being a sealed box should be easier to place than the rear ported Wilson. Of course both speakers have a different sound, and one is likely to appeal more to the listener based on their musical preferences over the other, but personally i'd rather pocket the $16k and put that into a better amp or front end ;)

This room sounded much better than last year. The Alexias are great performers.
