Who's keeping their JL sub boxes vs. throwing them out? ...
There comes a point where it's getting to be a problem keeping all the audio equipment boxes. Do I keep them or toss them? I plan on keeping the subs and don't have any need to upgrade them at all (no really).

I never throw any boxes away.
When you do sell it, and I know you just said you wouldn't, but you just may some day, being able to say - Original Boxes, instead of I'll pack it in the box from the UPS store, sounds a whole lot better to a buyer. |
Joe.......I keep all audio equipment boxes. You never know.

What if one needs to be sent back for service, etc... Keep them.

I know that's the right thing to do. Time to organize the backroom:no:. Thanks guys.

I try to keep all my boxes; however with hundreds of components, and some quite large they would fill an entire house.

I always keep my equipment boxes, but sometimes have to fold them flat for storage so they fit in the attic.
Ive a feeling the f112 box may be a bit large for the attic hatch, so may need folding flat too. |
I keep 95% of my equipment boxes - although for my two F113s I only kept one of the boxes due to space issues. More for in the unlikely event I need to have it repaired than due to me ever wanting to sell  :D

I keep all boxes. It has come in handy several times. Mine have the packing materials inside, so I can protect the component the same way it came to me. Fathom boxes with the built-in feet would be a crime to throw out. I will admit, the wife complains ....
