asking to 2-piece Accupase digital player owner
 

Hi,

I sold my Esoteric 03 player and now interesting in Accuphase 900/901, but
due to distance between DAC and transport, the supplied 1.5m of HS-Link cable will be too short.
Do you happen to know that is the HS-Link actually a standard RJ-45 LAN cable or not ? It would be great if it is so as then I can buy longer Audioquest DBS LAN cable to use as HS-Link cable.

Ok, sorry, Elberoth replied this exact question once long ago in the other post.
Yes HS-Link is actually standard RJ45 LAN cable.

toga, just to elaborate slightly. the hs -link is based on a tandard lan cable and can be ordred from accuphase in longer lengthes if required.
i have not opted to paly around with the audio quest cables as an alternative to the factory supplied one. sounds amazing as it is.

Really interesting to try 900/901 in my system, had been dreaming to own Accuphase
disc player since DP75V time... Some said Accuphase sound has changed in recent model, but I don't have any idea. Must be tough decision to choose between old friend Esoteric 02 vs Accuphase 900/901.
