After about a year's worth of reading (here, reviews, etc.) think have narrowed my considerations for a "1-box" solution for a DAP/preamp down to the Manhattan II. Seems to cover all bases in that it will do about everything digital as well as having a couple of analog inputs (phono & tuner for me). About 3x what I started out thinking I wanted to spend, but it takes care of everything I can imagine I would need, including MQA, should it become a requirement (either because they pay-off enough folks to make it the defacto standard or because it truly is the best sound - perhaps both?).
