Just bought a pair of IB2s speakers used. They were damaged in shipping. The speaker was dropped and the crossover wood backing is cracked and broken and a big component (I guess an inductor) broke away from the crossover entirely. I need an officially quote for a new IB2S crossover board to submit to fed ex as a repair expense. I'm going to try and salvage the speakers. Fed ex also gouged the finish but it's not horrible.

Please help. Thanks in advance for anything that can be provided.

I feel sick reading this Jax, make fedex buy you a new set.

really sorry to hear of your bad luck, hope you get it sorted out for the best.

Thank you. It's a crying shame. The shipper packed them very well. Fed Ex just abused the boxes. Very clearly shipping damage. I just hope they pay the claim without a problem. I insured each speaker for the full value of the pair.

Hey Jax
You get those ones from Igor...I will never ship with fedex/ups with this kind of gear...try Pilot air on a skid to their nearest depot....I hope he gave you a good deal now that there f**ked up...
i found a pair more local with sound anchor stands but they are up for sale now.

No problem, Dan. I only knew that since I had been corresponding with Mike S.
