The New M6

Amazing
Not sure about the tripod but I bet it's easier to balance on three pods. |
That is one very cool looking speaker!

Is the retail price truly $170K.
Man, this stuff is getting up there. |

This M6 has been singing in my room for more than two months now. I was using M Project before it, M6 is really better in every way. M Project is a very good speaker, M6 is an excellent one. |
Congratulations that is a nice set-up you have there. Is that the normal position for your speakers. If so you are blocking some of the music but I understand that sometimes we have to give up a bit to get the speakers as for apart a possible.

The New M6
Nice and I’m sure it sounds great as well. It also seems you may have a great view from that window.

The camera angle suggested the woofers were blocked, actually there were some space in front of the speakers. I shall move them closer at a later stage, but it still sound great at this position because the midrange and tweeter are clear. |

Looks great. I’m a current M Pro owner, with REL 25 subwoofer. Can you comment on how the sound has improved with the M6? Do you feel the need for a subwoofer? Thanks! |

M6 bass is much stronger than M Project and at the same time very revealing. Midrange is smooth and warm, treble is detailed but not edgy. If you like M Project sound, M6 gives you the sound you die for. |
Very helpful! Thank you! I do have issue with the M Pro bass in that what it produces is great, but I feel it definitely needs a subwoofer. Do you think the M6 needs a subwoofer? Have you tried classic rock with the M6 with a sub? Will it give you that punch (that the M Pro will not without a subwoofer)?

Meant “classic rock with the M6 without a sub” ....

I prefer music with a lot of details, ie high resolution. It is exactly what M6 and M Pro are giving me. Although there are many supporters for subwoofer, it will nevertheless reduce resolution. I am happy to stay out of it. |
