Just received the 804D3 from Magnolia AV. The speakers are definitely heavier. I noticed in the back there is no longer a silver disc with a screw in the back. The finish is much much better with a deeper glossy shine. Right of the box, the sounds does seem a bit more relaxed. Its interesting because all of the detail is there but the sound just flows now. Before the treble (cymbal crashes and some violin) could be a bit harsh but I dont detect it with the new D3. Will report back after more hours and some placement tips from Patrick. http://imageshack.com/a/img903/9991/fvQZ3H.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img911/484/a8PBXt.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img905/4217/15ctvX.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img907/5098/nOwvGM.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img905/7030/fx9oQS.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img907/2636/bt4asy.jpg

May I ask an off topic question?? (Couldn't send you PM)
Is your Sony TV 65 or 75"???? |
Prudent choice. A lot of speaker value within the new B&W 800 D3 line.
