Burns (Ouch!!)
 

Feel sure that you, like me, occasionally burns a finger as you cook. Did so yesterday and thought sure I had blistered the pad on my thumb. After the required soak in cold water, found I had no salve of any sort and headed for the local CVS. Rather than looking around for whatever, I ask the duty pharmacist and she pointed me to their Anti-Microbial Silver Wound Gel. Something new to me. However, I have to admit that it is the best burn dressing I've used. Once it dries (fairly slow process) it seems to leave a nice 'film' that not only protects and removes all hint of any 'sting', it allows one to use the thumb with no problem. Will not be without it in the future.
