Low-profile ceiling treatments?

Does anyone have suggestions ceiling diffusion treatments with a very low profile? My basement room has only 7-ft (2.1 m) height. With a higher ceiling, I'd use skyline"-type diffusers, but I am hoping to find something with less than 2 inches thick.

Apparently the Diffuse Signature system might work for this. Last time I checked, it was extremely costly, and I wonder if people know of good alternatives.

I'd prefer to avoid anything with significant absorption. The carpet on the room's floor (long story) deadens it enough.

And ideally, I'd like to avoid gluing anything to the ceiling.

Have my requirements ruled out everything by now? :dunno:

Mike... I use ASC Cinema Panels on my ceilings. They would meet all your criteria.

Thanks, Richard and Ivan, for suggestions. I have similar ASC panels in the rear of the room now.

After installing them, we had construction problems & replaced the cork floor with carpet, which deadened the room. My first choice now for front ceiling is something with less absorption than those panels. But I'm not ruling them out. ASC among other things is really easy to work with, and only an hour away.
