The Beatles' Abbey Road returns to number one
Longevity...
The Beatles' Abbey Road has returned to number one in the UK, 50 years after it first topped the album charts. The feat also sees the album set a record - the gap of 49 years and 252 days since its initial chart-topping run ended in early 1970 is the longest gap before returning to number one. The Fab Four reclaims top spot |

Simply awesome, and I really enjoy Come Together (2019 Mix). https://youtu.be/l3SBBWIxGZA
My only purchase this year from HDtracks. Ron |

I listened to the first side again last night, really impressed. You hear a remaster/reissue like this and wonder why they all can't sound like this, very well done. The bass is powerful, but smooth and not overpowering. Listen to "Here Comes the Sun" for a good taste of what the album sounds like now. I need to spin my copy from the all analog tube cut BC 13 Blue Box to see how they compare.

I'm definitely going to pick this up. I was just listening to The White Album today and saying I need to get more. I just grabbed Let it Be, at a record store today. This will be my next purchase.

I agree, can’t get enough of this one! The vinyl set arrived today, also bought the download off Qobuz from the Sublime for like $17.00 and was streaming from Qobuz in between all of this. |
