Cost to Ship 802 Speaker

Does anyone know what the freight would be roughly to ship an 802 in their original containers from the midwest to say the west coast or east coast. I have original containers. Have any of you guys pulled this off successfully? Any advice?

You can estimate it on both UPS and Fedex websites. You just need the dimensions and weight and insurance amount.

Spoiler alert: it's a lot :(

I run a shipping business, but don't handle freight shipments.

When I need such a thing, or a customer is looking for it? I've always told them to check with freightquote or cratersandfreighters.

My guess to EAST coast? Something not too different than about $300, presuming they are already in their shipping containers.

Residential lift gate service is $125 at each end by itself.

Who needs a lift gate? Net shipping weight is only 196 lbs per. :P

That's right about my personal limit. Well within the range of 2 people with decent backs.

That will be 250 lbs on a skid. You can’t ship freight without a skid. ;)

I would probably need movers to help me crate them up and get them outside too right? The freight company isn’t going to come into the house and get the boxes, right?
