Being an American, I'm always glad to buy American, but those Grado GS 1000s are way too colored for classical music. I was able to do an A/B with Sennheiser HD 800s and happily bought them. Maybe the Grado PS 1000s sound better, but the dealer didn't have any in stock.

Personally I thought the GS1000 the best of the bunch. Great for low level listening and comfortable too unlike the other Grados.

Just picked up the GH1. So far I like what I hear.
