Any Pen or Lighter Collectors out there?
Do we have any other Pen or Lighter collectors here on AA?
Especially S.T. Dupont and or Mont Blanc... |
I collect the old Parker fountain pens
|
I use a montblanc starwalker ballpoint everyday at work, not a collector as I only have one.
|
I have a massive collection of both Pens & Lighters. :)
|
I have to admit to always being fascinated with pens. I fell in love with the Rotring Core colorful thick pens 15 years ago and bought every color and style I could find here and in Germany. I stopped collecting after that! I still always haunt pen stores just to look

I have a few pens I've collected over the years, mostly Parker, Caran d'Ache, Pelikan, Mont Blanc. I'm particularly partial to Pelikan.
|
I have actively avoided pens, along with scuba and golf and cars (mostly), just to maintain my sanity and bank account over the years. I gave in to audio, skiing and fly fishing for tarpon and steelhead.

It seems to be a genetic defect that many of us here on AA share! |

Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 that I've owned for almost 30 years. I use it almost every day.
I use it with Sheaffer No 22 blue black which is not as viscous as other inks which are more prone to clogging. |

No serious collection is complete without a Tibaldi! :smoking: Fulgor Nocturnus at "only" $8 Mil. :yikes: https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/s...by-Tibaldi.jpg |
Serge... that pen does nothing for me.

I used to be into pens as well for some time but mostly focused on the Japanese hand crafted NAKAYA beauties. They have pens for every taste and budget. http://www.nakaya.org/products/IMAGES/BODY/11038(1).jpg http://www.nakaya.org/products/IMAGES/BODY/11038(3).jpg http://www.nakaya.org/products/IMAGES/BODY/11019(2).jpg http://www.nakaya.org/products/IMAGES/BODY/11029(3).jpg http://www.nakaya.org/products/IMAGES/BODY/13008(4).jpg |
I have about 20 new and vintage fountain pens, which are mainly what I write with. And too many bottles of ink to want to count. Plus it would be embarrassing. Current favorites - Lamy 2000 (the equivalent of a great sounding cheap component), Leonardo Momento Zero and a vintage Sterling Parker 75.
Thanks for asking 😉 |
