Has anyone upgraded their preamp?

Not me. But frankly I am afraid to go hear the new stuff. Makes me want to buy gear. :D

This BAT forum is really quiet somehow. I still use my 6200 for my SACD multi channel music session which is directly hooked up to the OPPO 105 for simply setup ever. Have yet to decided a BAT preamp since most of my gears are Mcintosh for two channel. Enjoy both.

I am beyond satisfied with my BAT gear. The odd consequence is that I don't have "upgradeitis" and, thus, no new BAT gear to discuss. :)

How about tubes. What's everyone using 6H30? Sovtek or NOS?

Just finished installing the latest generation Nichicon electrolytic caps, at this level of parts quality I prefer the EH Gold 6H30 tube, the Gold Lion reissue 6V6 tube and the reissue Tung Sol 6SN7 tube.
