AC Whole House Harmonics Filtering
 

OK I have determined and this is a long story and a lot of testing. But I need a solution to reduce harmonic noise coming into my homes AC from the power company.

Like most of you I have dealt with HUM group loops, installed lifts, conditioners, filters, suppressors, protection from lighting etc.

My MF(Magnetic field and EMF and even RF readings are off the scale.

I have even unplugged everything in the entire house even smoke alarms, door bells, fridge heater etc. You name it.

All dimmers, slides, old style bulbs noise florescent gone.

I even replaced ever breaker in the box all 49 of them, ran extra grounds to the main, pipes, inside outside etc.

Only thing I can not do is provide my own AC current to the main. We are to the point I shut everything down PCs, unplug all audio gear, TVs etc and flip the main off so we can sleep. I have tried all individual circuits to no help. Problem goes away if all power is killed only!


So I need something I can have an electrician install between me and the power company to remove the harmonic noise source from the power company.

Have contacted them and they only do this for sub-stations.

I thought this would be a great place to get help from AA users since I am sure that not only do we have very bright folks here, but also I bet in the quest for the best sound many have ran into similar issues even after you have spent a TON on gear and the line noises are still high and filthy.

The MF is so bad that my dog at times wont even lay in the house it is like a dog whistle driving her nuts, and my wife and myself are fine when we leave for days, as soon as we return we can feel head pressure and it has been making us sick. Symptoms are severe head pains and ear ringing that is intense.

I thought a while back I found most of the issue my Wireless smart meter from the power company was thousands of times stronger than a cell phone for RF and MF output. So I opted out and now have a non AMR meter, but it is still digital. The old wheel analogs are no more :(

Dave... sounds like you may need a commercial grade isolation transformer, to effectively take your home off the grid.

Kinda what I am thinking too Ivan.

I feel like I am so sick of it that I have 6+ acres of land I could do solar+ wind and battery storage, would be able to bet government credits for clean power+ sell back extra power produced.

This would give me privacy, protection, better cleaner power and fix our health issues and of course all the other issues related to noise.

But if I stay on the so called grid I need to have some sort of a whole home filter for EMF, RF, MF and harmonics.

Part of me is so frustrated I want to sell my house, yet the location and house are amazing and to top that off I only am 3 years away from no house payments.

Nice story, but while I like this if you can afford it, and why not, mine has become a serious health issue for my wife and myself. I am over $80k out of pocket in 14 months and seen 36 docs in 6 states multiple times.

All test show that I am healthym in fact never had a cold since 1978 and all test for blood, scans etc perfect, but electrically this has damaged areas of my brain that may not be able to recover. Anyway am suffering from O.N.(Occipital Neuralgia) which is serious inflammation issue that has caused me to have Hemicranial Cortana, and now the pressure has caused such severe pressure in my head that it tore my jaw a caused TMJ I am dealing with too, in other words 40-70 severe headaches per day pain levels in the 7+ range.

Anyway that is another thread. And I think beside air, water etc things most people think about in pollution terms. The flag is not even on the tip of the iceberg for WIFI, RF, MF, and all other types of electronic pollution that is causing major bodily harm.

But alas if I could afford it I should have got off the grid 2 years ago. I would be money, and health ahead and also have better sound right :)


I am just trying to solve my home electrical issue with the existing power company if possible, but next step may be as Ivan has said.

Last month I was quoted $27k for a solar system that would power my house but still connected to the grid: selling my excess back to the power company in the summer and drawing from the grid in the winter. I live in the PNW in mountains so can't generate enough to sustain the house during the winter months. I was also offered a battery system to go off grid, charge the batteries in bright conditions and draw off them during darker periods, for $39k. So if you live somewhere with good light and southern exposure you could probably go off-grid with a battery system for under $50k, and there are tax incentives to help, which could give you about a 5-year payback.

Dave, I would like to try and help you with this. I had a very serious issue of 'extreme' EM fields in my home. It seriously affected by health and wellbeing. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the issue for more than 2-years before I identified the problem.

At this point, I am not sure if your issue and mine are the same. But, I have a lot of experience with this and will try to help. I may have to ask you a lot of questions, so it may be best if you send me a PM where I can give you my phone number.
