LED Color, or my OCD is acting up
 

I just put together a system with recent Accuphase gear: a E-600 integrated amp, DP-550 SACD player, and T-1100 tuner. These were all models introduced in the early 2010s, and were current at the same time. It sounds excellent on my PMC OB1i speakers. :music: And the physical design is very coordinated when the gear is off. :yes:

However, each component has various LED numeric displays. The ones on the amp and SACD player are orange, but the LEDs on the tuner are red. :no: Why? Is there some technical reason, or do the lower tier Accuphase components use orange while the higher tier use red? Or is there another reason?

Hah, so the LEDs on the T-1100 are red too. Just like on my T-1000.

One less reason then for me to upgrade the tuner...

The higher tier components are still orange, the Tuner's are red. After a few wines, they look the same in any case :music:
