WW Platinum Series 8 Speaker Cables in the house...
 

My WW Platinum Series 8 Speaker Cables 2.5M just arrived today.

These are now 9 Gauge Cables, and more flexible than ever. David Salz from WW says that the biggest improvement with Series 8 cables comes via Speaker Cables.

These will be replacing my Platinum Series 7 Speaker Cables in my TAD/Bryston/Esoteric system.

First Impressions
 

Well, I swapped out my Platinum Eclipse 7’s for the new 8’s earlier today.

Stone cold out of the box they exhibit an extreme smoothness, and even greater detail than my Series 7. Gobs of Bass, and a lush mid section already have me smiling.

I’m playing the system now 24/7 to get them over 100 hours, then I’ll sit back down and do some critical listening.

So far 68 hours on my new Platinum 8 Speaker Cables.
