Freeman Dyson on how his work was rejected by Fermi

Rather charming and candid inteview with Freeman Dyson on his meeting witth Enrico Fermi...

Of note is that Dyson said that Fermi, in 10 minutes, saved Dyson's lab 5 years of what would be unproductive work.

Interesting interview, thanks for sharing Stephen.

Freeman Dyson passed away a month ago. No doubt those in the scientific community and familiar with his work will miss him.

I suppose one day the Dyson Sphere will be discovered? Somewhere out there, there has to be a civilization of unimaginable to us technological progress and it would make a lot of sense that an advanced civilization would harvest the energy of a star.
