Let´s not forget that a company like Rowland has just discontinued Class D Amplifiers. They were not well regarded by the audiophile community.

I thought that one control was labeled "Smooth" and sure enough from the Burmester site:

As can be seen from the front of the 101, the headphone jack has been inserted in front, as compared to older brothers
