I owned the IT-REF20 and later the 20i.

Great sound, happy memories for audio BUT..

Not everything loves balanced power. Video upsampler and video boards in general in my Esoteric UX1 Limited and then P-03U and Lumagen scaler at the time had some strange IRE level diff issues...after months of trial and error and more rigorous testing by an ISF Engineer with Sencore units, it was concluded by both him and Esoteric that balanced power was the issue (details omitted here). Caveat Emptor

Roll the clock forward several other conditioners, another balanced, 2 regen and then 2 more passive...

Left them all behind gladly...Shunyata TRITON v3 and TYPHON QR is THE best combination I have EVER used!!!
