Apparently Stillpoints took my advice many months ago, and is now offering it’s LPI Record Clamp in Black.

As much as I'm a tweak skeptic, the LPI is worth it. I rarely use it for casual play, but if I'm sitting down in the sweet spot and focusing on the music it's always on my TT.

My entire new Stillpoints order arrived today. New Ultra Stands, Ultra II’s and LPI Clamps in Black (both Long and Short spindle) :)

That was my approach too. Once I became aware of how it was benefiting the music, I couldn’t go without it when doing focused listening. Having said that, I still thought it delivered the lowest bang for the buck of any Stillpoints purchase I’ve made - and I have Stillpoints under everything. Definitely something one should try before buying.

LPi clamp started my journey with stillpoints. Easily heard improvements. It’s indispensable as far as I’m concerned. It sitting atop every record I spin. Glad to see it’s now offered in black. That would have been my preference.

I’m going to open up a few in Black. Use the one that strikes my mood at the moment. :D
