You are in Dallas? I am as well. Nice to see another DFW Had fan here locally!

I used the 5U4GB that came with the pre. Earlier, I tried a Cunningham 80 with a pair of CX-301As that I liked very much and maybe my favorite set in my system.
For reference, I stream Qobuz to a Yggdrasil DAC to the LP-2030 to a A Eaton 45 SET. (I should have the KT88 SEP in a week or so). Speakers are Omega CAMs.
I've pretty much tried all of the allowed output tubes in the LP-2030 and have found them all to be just different degrees of excellent.

New here. I read some post near the end of this thread that someone actually has something like a manual for the 2030? I would love to get a copy of that!

This is such an amazing build!

I don't think Dennis has had the time or the inclination to do one himself. I'd be curious to see what someone else has come up with...

2030 fuse

The fuse blew in my 2030. I removed it and thought read it as a .5amp fast blow. I got some and put one in and it blew. Can someone confirm the fuse?
I stupidly tossed the original. :tears:

DH: Also, fire it up w/o the rectifier tube installed. Then with the rect. If it blows then you know it is the rectifier.

Thanks, I bought fast-blow fuses. I'll get the slow blows today. I'm not sure what happened but am sure I was to blame. :tears: This is a superb preamp.

Got a slow-blow and all is well. Thanks gents the 2030 is an amazing preamp.

It's the end game for me.
