You’re in for a real treat. Listening to mine (in Harley Black) right now. 2 pr 6f6s driving my latest speaker build. [emoji106][emoji344][emoji445][emoji16]

👍🏼 It’s a little tough communicating with Dennis though. Each email reply takes a couple of days but I totally get that he probably has tons of queries to go through given how popular his Inspire amps are.

Just made my payment and now all I have to do is wait!

From what I’ve read here, there’s a chart indicating what types of power tubes and their corresponding outputs. This being my first tube amp, I’d like to know if a certain type of power tube needs to be matched with a certain type of rectifier and / or driver tubes? Or if anyone can link me to a page where I can learn more. Thank you!

Just remember that even though Dennis does not reply here, he does read this forum. Usually he will ask Straitwire, bearcity or myself to reply in some way....

I'd love to try some EML's, but the price is not something I'm sure warrants the 'improvement'. I guess I won't know unless I try them. I have several dozens of NOS 45's, including globes that I will rotate through - all various brands. I could see selling off a couple quad to fund some EML's. :scratch2:

The EML's are excellent tubes but I don't know if they are better than a stellar pair of old production globes. They do sound more robust and more powerful than old production.
