Breaking News: Meridian transfers software biz to Roon Labs!
 

Meridian has agreed a deal to transfer the company’s software applications business to a newly established entity, Roon Labs, headed up by Enno Vandermeer.

I'm very excited about the possibilities here and have been in communication with one of the key players that moved with the founder from Sooloos/Meridian over to "roon." He was pretty tight-lipped about this but now that the cat is out of the bag we should hear more soon!

Suffice it to say, if they can provide a Sooloos like interface (or presumably better) for those of us on non-Meridian platforms, I will be the first to sign up.

There had been rumors that the original Sooloos developers were working on products to support other platforms (dCs for example). It looks like it goes beyond this.

Got an update from Danny Dulai of Room Labs.

Have you been following the blog on their site. They have been very informative and open. First product should be out mid May. Lots of questions asked, lots of answers provided.
