Calling Niles Programmer
 

Am having difficulty getting a Niles HT-MSU through the network on my laptop with Win7 OS and virtual XP loaded. Everything I have tried such as disabling the firewall, checking ip config's on both ends, network searches ect. and still cannot get my laptop to recognize the unit on the network to modify it in software.
I may try digging out an old pc from the basement loaded with XP OS and see if I can get the unit through the network that way since the Niles software is XP based.

Wondering if anyone here is knowledgeable or a Niles expert and can lend some advise?
